Want to run the quick test on your ceramic coating that you have on your vehicle? Simply apply the small amount of vaseline or other grease mixed with a drop or two of food color and wash the area after with the water rinse only. Try to wipe out the greasy area while wet. If it wipes out easily, leaving no residue or film, then you have the oleophobic ceramic coating, which is of a premium quality.
However, chances are that the surface will not wipe off entirely and you will be able to spot some residue left. If so, you may want to consider investing in a better quality ceramic coating product such as our DuraSlic Xtreme DS1500 coating, which is both hydrophobic and oleophobic in nature.
